Bonjour. Ahoj. Hello.

I teach French, Czech and English online, one-to-one or in small groups — for adults building a new skill and kids growing up between languages.

Every lesson taught by me — no rotating teachers, no handoffs.

Small groups of 4–7 so everyone actually talks, not just listens.

All online — join from anywhere, on your schedule.

Why Slow Talks?

Most people who come to me already know more than they think. What's missing isn't vocabulary or grammar — it's the confidence to open their mouth and trust that what comes out will be understood.

That's why everything here is slow on purpose. No rushing through chapters, no being corrected mid-sentence, no pressure to be perfect. We talk — about your day, your plans, the things you actually care about — at a pace where you can think, make mistakes, and try again.

Trust is built in small, repeated moments: the first sentence that lands, the first joke that works, the first phone call you no longer dread. Each one makes the next easier. Grammar then stops being a rulebook and becomes a tool you reach for when a conversation needs it.

That's what a lesson with me should feel like: a calm, safe space where speaking becomes something you trust yourself to do — in French, Czech or English.

Three languages, one address

Every course is built around speaking from the first lesson — not just grammar on a page.

French
A0 – B2

From your first "bonjour" to holding your own in a real conversation. Strong on pronunciation and everyday speaking, with a track for people preparing for work or study in France.

Format: group or private
Where: live, online video lessons
Czech
A0 – C2

Built for people actually living here — ordering at the pub, reading a lease, following a work meeting. Grammar is taught through situations, not tables.

Format: group or private
Where: live, online video lessons
English
A0 – C2

General conversation, exam preparation, and business English for meetings, emails and presentations. Mistakes are part of it — we'll gently work through them together, at a pace that feels comfortable.

About Elsa

The person you'll actually be learning with — every lesson, every language.

Elsa

I grew up with three languages under one roof — Czech from my mother, French from my father, and English as the language that held it all together. Long before I taught a single lesson, language was simply how our family understood each other.

That's still what language means to me: not a subject to get right, but a way in. Every new language is a door to more people, more places, and more ways of seeing things — the friendships you couldn't have had otherwise, the jokes that only land in their original tongue, the version of a place you only get to know once you can ask about it in its own words.

It's why I teach through conversation rather than grammar drills. Real connection is built with words exchanged, not rules memorized — so my lessons start with speaking, and the grammar follows to support that, not the other way around. Alongside each language, I bring in the culture it grew from: how people actually talk, joke, and live day to day in Czechia, France, and the English-speaking world. Learning a language, done well, is really learning to move through someone else's world.
